Samsung Might Have Accidentally Revealed the Galaxy Watch Ultra on Their Own Website

The buzz around the potential release of a Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra has been growing, and Samsung has added to the excitement by inadvertently revealing the name of the new wearable on some of its regional websites.

The pages have been removed, but not before they were noticed by 91mobiles (via Android Authority). Although this doesn’t reveal much about the premium smartwatch, it does confirm its existence, its name, and its upcoming release.

Initially, there were several rumored names for the new device, including the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra, Galaxy Watch X, and Galaxy Watch 7 Pro. However, over time, the name Galaxy Watch Ultra became more frequently mentioned. It now appears that this will indeed be the official name of the device.

Since this is Samsung’s first Ultra version in its smartwatch series, it makes sense not to give it a number. Next year, we might see the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, similar to how Apple has already introduced the Apple Watch Ultra 2.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra could look something like this

Rumors about the Galaxy Watch Ultra for 2024 are gaining momentum, suggesting that Samsung will soon release a premium smartwatch. According to leaks, the watch is expected to feature a 47mm size, matching the dimensions of the largest Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic.

Recent leaks have revealed unofficial renders of the highly anticipated Galaxy Watch Ultra, offering a glimpse of its unique design. The images suggest that Samsung faced a design dilemma between a square and round casing. The result is an innovative blend of both shapes, creating a distinctive look for the new smartwatch.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra is rumored to feature a titanium casing, elevating its design and durability. With an expected price range of $699 to $710 in the US, it is positioned significantly higher than the Galaxy Watch 6, yet still more affordable than the Apple Watch 2.

All signs indicate that the next Samsung Unpacked event will take place on July 10. Anticipated announcements include the Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Ring, and Galaxy Buds 3.
