Xiaomi has officially started rolling out the much-anticipated HyperOS 2.0 global beta update for Xiaomi Pad 6 users enrolled in the beta testing program. This marks a significant milestone, bringing the tablet up to date with Xiaomi’s latest Android 14-based operating system.
The update arrives with the build number OS2.0.2.0.UMZMIXM and introduces several performance enhancements, UI refinements, and multitasking improvements. Global users have been waiting for this update since HyperOS 2.0 was first launched in China a month ago.
With this beta release, Xiaomi is entering the final testing phase before making the update available to all Xiaomi Pad 6 users worldwide. Here’s what you can expect from HyperOS 2.0 on Xiaomi Pad 6:
Currently, only registered beta testers are receiving the OS2.0.2.0.UMZMIXM build. Xiaomi is closely monitoring feedback before launching the stable version globally.
When will HyperOS 2.0 roll out to all users?
Reports indicate that HyperOS 2.0 may be the last major update for the Xiaomi Pad 6. While some Xiaomi flagship devices might receive future updates like HyperOS 2.1 or 2.2, sources suggest that the Pad 6 will not be upgraded beyond HyperOS 2.0.
However, users can still expect regular security patches and minor software updates to keep their device running smoothly.
If you own a Xiaomi Pad 6, upgrading to HyperOS 2.0 will bring a more refined, efficient, and powerful experience. From enhanced multitasking to smoother performance and better battery optimization, this update ensures that your tablet remains competitive in 2024.
Stay tuned for the official stable rollout and keep an eye on Xiaomi’s update notifications!
