It’s remarkable that “The Fall Guy” and “The Bikeriders” are set to be the major movie premieres on Peacock this August, especially since they had minimal impact at the box office this summer. This scenario works in Peacock’s favor, as both films were underrated and now the streaming service has the advantage of offering two recent theatrical releases before summer ends. This strategy could encourage subscribers who joined for the Olympics to remain engaged with the platform for a longer period.
