Tata’s New iPhone Assembly Plant Set to Begin in November!

Apple's fourth iPhone assembly plant in India, built by Tata Electronics, is set to start production in November, according to Business Standard.

The new factory in Tamil Nadu’s Hosur will be Tata's second iPhone assembly unit, following their acquisition of Wistron's plant in Karnataka.

Tata Electronics plans to invest Rs 6,000 crore in the new assembly plant, matching their previous investment in the components unit.

The new facility is expected to employ over 50,000 workers, with 35,000-40,000 working in the assembly plant alone. It will be the largest in India.
