Lava has introduced the Aura Curve in India, bringing a curved AMOLED display, a secondary screen on the rear panel, and a large 6,000mAh battery to its latest smartphone offering. The new device follows the design and specifications of the Lava Virat Curve but is targeted specifically at customers purchasing smartphones through offline retail stores.
Priced at ₹23,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, the Lava Aura Curve combines a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor, a 120Hz display, 45W fast charging, and a 50MP Sony camera sensor. It also runs Android 16 with a clean software experience, making it an option for buyers looking for distinctive hardware without unnecessary pre-installed applications.
Lava Aura Curve Price in India and Availability
The Lava Aura Curve price in India is set at ₹23,999 for the variant featuring 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Unlike the Lava Virat Curve, which was introduced for the broader smartphone market, the Aura Curve is aimed at offline customers.
The smartphone will be available through offline retail stores across India. This approach allows buyers to explore the device in person before making a purchase.
Lava has also announced two colour options for the Aura Curve, although their specific names have not been provided in the available launch information.
Lava Aura Curve Specifications and Features
Curved AMOLED Display With a Secondary Rear Screen
One of the main attractions of the Lava Aura Curve is its display design. The smartphone features a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smoother scrolling, fluid animations, and a more responsive experience when navigating the interface or playing compatible games.
The device also includes a secondary AMOLED screen on the rear panel. This additional display gives the phone a distinctive appearance and sets it apart from conventional smartphones that feature a single screen.
The rear screen is a notable part of the Aura Curve’s design, although detailed information about its supported functions has not yet been provided.
MediaTek Dimensity 7100 Processor and 5G Connectivity
The Lava Aura Curve is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset. The processor is designed to handle everyday smartphone activities, including browsing, social media, video streaming, multitasking, and compatible mobile games.
The handset also supports 5G connectivity, allowing users to access supported 5G networks where available. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and GPS.
With these connectivity features, the Aura Curve covers the essential wireless capabilities expected from a modern smartphone in its price segment.
6,000mAh Battery With 45W Fast Charging
Battery capacity is another important feature of the Lava Aura Curve. The smartphone packs a 6,000mAh battery, which provides a substantial power reserve for users who spend considerable time browsing the internet, watching videos, using social media, or communicating throughout the day.
The device supports 45W fast charging, helping reduce charging time compared with slower charging solutions. Actual battery endurance and charging times will depend on usage patterns, network conditions, and other factors.
50MP Sony Rear Camera and 13MP Selfie Camera
For photography, the Lava Aura Curve features a 50MP primary rear camera built around the Sony IMX752 sensor. The high-resolution sensor is intended to capture detailed images in supported shooting conditions.
On the front, the smartphone includes a 13MP selfie camera for self-portraits, video calls, and other front-camera applications.
However, details regarding additional rear cameras, optical image stabilisation, specialised photography modes, and video recording capabilities have not been confirmed in the available launch information.
Android 16 With a Clean Software Experience
The Lava Aura Curve runs Android 16 and is advertised with a clean software experience without unnecessary pre-installed applications, commonly referred to as bloatware.
A cleaner Android interface can make it easier for users to navigate the phone without dealing with unwanted apps. However, Lava has not provided detailed information about the device’s software update policy, including the number of promised Android version upgrades or the duration of security updates.
Buyers who prioritise long-term software support should check the official update commitments before purchasing the device.
In-Display Fingerprint Scanner, Stereo Speakers and IP64 Rating
Beyond its display and battery, the Lava Aura Curve includes several practical hardware features. These include an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric unlocking and stereo speakers for audio playback.
The smartphone also carries an IP64 rating, indicating protection against dust and splashing water under specified test conditions. This rating does not mean the phone is waterproof, so users should avoid deliberately exposing it to water.
Together, these features add to the phone’s everyday usability while complementing its curved display and secondary rear screen.

Lava Aura Curve vs Lava Virat Curve: What’s Different?
The Lava Aura Curve follows the same design and specifications as the Lava Virat Curve, according to the company’s launch information. Both models feature the curved display concept and a secondary screen on the rear panel.
The key distinction is their target market. While the Virat Curve was introduced in India, the Aura Curve is specifically intended for customers shopping through offline retail channels.
This strategy gives Lava another way to reach buyers who prefer visiting physical stores, examining a smartphone in person, and making their purchase directly through a retailer.
Is the Lava Aura Curve Worth Considering?
The Lava Aura Curve brings together several features that could attract buyers looking for a smartphone with a distinctive design. Its curved 6.67-inch AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, and secondary rear screen give it a different appearance from conventional devices.
The 6,000mAh battery and 45W charging support are also notable inclusions, while the Dimensity 7100 chipset, 5G connectivity, and Android 16 cover key hardware and software requirements.
At ₹23,999, the phone’s overall value will depend on its real-world performance, camera quality, battery endurance, software support, and how useful the secondary rear display proves to be. Buyers should also compare its features with competing smartphones in the same price range before making a final decision.
Final Verdict
The Lava Aura Curve expands Lava’s smartphone portfolio with a design-focused device aimed at the offline retail market in India. Its combination of a 120Hz AMOLED display, rear AMOLED screen, 50MP Sony camera sensor, 6,000mAh battery, and clean Android 16 software makes it an interesting option in the ₹25,000 price segment.
With a listed price of ₹23,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration, the Aura Curve offers a feature set that may appeal to buyers seeking something different from a standard smartphone design. More information about its colour options, software updates, and real-world performance would help determine how competitive it is against other phones in its price category.
